METHOD

The difference between a ticket and a brief.

A ticket is a record of a decision. A brief is the delivery of that decision to the person who has to act on it. They are not the same artifact, and most teams treat them as if they were.

The ticket lives in the tracker, where it is correct and complete and mostly unread. The brief lives in the channel the developer is already in, at the moment they are assigned, with the three things they actually need: what it is, what done means, when it is due.

Pyloq does not try to make tickets read. It makes tickets into briefs. The record still exists. The message is what gets acted on.

LECTURE

Pyloq drafts. A person decides. The artifact waits for the yes before it becomes a ticket — and the yes is logged.
